Petpav.com is a pet social network for pets and their owners. It’s a fun site that is like Facebook for pets.

You can make friends, get advice and read all the articles on pet care. If you own a pet business, you can create a profile for free and ‘petwork’ on our wall to promote your business.

Petpav is designed to be another network besides Twitter and/or Facebook that is smaller and all pet-oriented…a pet-centric site that is all about your pets!

Kiana Doyle logo Uof OProficient in communications, passionate about animals and ready to work hard on their behalf.

I’m Kiana, an avid pet-lover and graduate of the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. The emphasis of my studies was public relations, and I minored in media studies.

I’m proficient with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine, YouTube and LinkedIn. I’m skilled at setting up blogs on the WordPress site and using Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop) and Final Cut Pro.

It’s my professional goal to use my degree in communications to give back to animals. I have a particular interest in animal welfare, including nutrition, medical care, education and rescue.

I’m currently developing a communication plan for the Greenhill Humane Society of Lane County to improve community outreach and ultimately increase adoption rates. I’m also involved with a public interest group, working to plan events and outreach to local media.

I was raised with animals, and they have always been a part of my life.  My cat, Giukiana doyle photo 2seppe, was a huge source of emotional support throughout my college experience.

These experiences have honed my communication, social media and PR skills. I’m looking forward  to applying my talents to my true passion – helping animals.

Creature Comfort Inn logo

About Tammy

Tammy brings a unique set of skills with her, and they make her especially suited to manage the care and well being of pets while at Creature Comfort Inn. A lifelong animal lover, she assisted a veterinarian while studying to become a veterinary technician. She is experienced working with and caring for exotic animals, such as reptiles and birds and has provided a foster home for dogs and large birds as well as emergency care for large animals, such as horses, cows and sheep.

Tammy and her husband are both certified Emergency Medical Technicians, volunteering with the Fortsmouth Volunteer Fire Department since 1998. As well, Tammy volunteers with the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue group, which is where she found her shepherd, Naiah. Tammy and her family have another dog named Zoe, a miniature Australian Shepherd, and one cat.

Tammy continues her studies in animal care on-line and holds a certificate in animal care as well as a certification in Pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross.

Boarding Philosophy

The philosophy at the Creature Comfort Inn is simple: To provide a comfortable and safe environment for pets while away from home.

While there is no place like home, Creature Comfort Inn comes pretty close. Every boarding dog gets to be outside three to four times a day, either for a romp in one of the exercise areas or a walk with one of the staff. Many kennels feel they should charge extra to walk a dog; at Creature Comfort Inn, it’s the standard of care!

Dog Training

Creature Comfort Inn’s other specialty is dog training and owner education. Since 1974, the business has established and directed training programs for the Montgomery County Maryland Humane Society, working with clients and their pets in the home and in the kennel. At Creature Comfort Inn, hundreds of dog-handler teams have been trained for AKC obedience titles, agility, search and rescue, tracking, personal protection and Schutzhund competition.

Stephanie Syberg product photo 3Tulane’s Closet – Home of the Cover Me by Tui post-surgical pet garment – comfort not found with an e-collar

We all know vets have a difficult time with client compliance after their pet has surgery and goes home with an e-collar. Well, we have the answer! It is the Cover Me by Tui, which is a patent-pending true alternative to the e-collar.

This one-piece post-surgical garment allows the pet to rest easier and heal quicker. The Cover Me by Tui is made of 100% Peruvian cotton that is breathable, durable and light weight. Stephanie Syberg product photo 2

It has many reinforcements at critical seams and double stitching with reinforced snap tabs. The triple-strand cotton gives the garment strength, but its softness instantly comforts and calms the pet.

For ease, we have a built-in potty cover made of a soft French terry cloth that conveniently rolls and snaps up and out of the way, also absorbing any discharge that may Stephanie Syberg product photo 1occur after surgery. There are two styles to choose from – the Step-Into and the Pullover; both have either short- or long-sleeve options. We have designed our covers to easily  fit most any size breed with seven sizes from XXS to XXL to choose from.

The Cover Me by Tui is the only true alternative to an e-collar; now adjustable for a more customized fit

Brands built with Cowboy Ingenuity with a European Flair

Manly Pet, LLC is an equine and companion animal hard goods product developer. Lisa handles the company’s trademark brands and private Lisa Hegland product photo- Manly Pet LLClabels from conception through manufacturing to wholesale delivery.

Manly Pet’s newest product, a highly-endorsed, patent-pending equine halter, will be brought to market this summer.

About Lisa

“More than half a dozen years ago, I realized what I’ve enjoyed most in life – pets!  My current ‘mentors’ are: Max, an African grey; Asher, a Tibetan ‘terror’; K.C.  aka Mom, a black Labrador; her daughter, Rain; and Jack the Dog, a Brussels Griffon, with whom I share ‘custody’ with my son.

“After several years of research and development, I felt ready to launch Manly Pet, LLC in 2008. I wrote my first big investment check one week before Wall Street and the banks crashed. The economic world tilted, and I had to decide what to do: Cut my losses or carry on. I decided to put my head down and continue working on  products that made sense.

“What developed were products with clean sensible designs with premium integrity at affordable price points. These include unique leads and lunge lines for horses, dog leashes, denim dog collars and dog bed duvets as well as cat Canoodle beds and collars.

“I named my company Manly Pet as an answer to the question, ‘What happened to man in his best friend’s life?’ Men are, in my mind’s eye, my target market.”

Behind every horse are two dogs and three cats!
